We are seeking a hands-on Production Floor Trainer to deliver on-the-job training, coaching and competency assessments across our production operations. Working closely with operational leaders and the L&D team, you will help develop workforce capability while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity covering maternity leave, with the potential for extension and future full time opportunities.
- Deliver practical training and coaching on the production floor
- Support new starter inductions and onboarding
- Identify training needs and coordinate training activities
- Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching
- Maintain training records and training matrices
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions and safety requirements
- Facilitate refresher training and competency assessments
- Review and recommend improvements to training materials and Work Instruction
About You
- Experience in training, coaching or mentoring within a manufacturing, production or food processing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, safety and quality requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build capability and engage employees at all levels
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable: NOST Trainer Certification or similar training qualification.
